HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Le Pasticcino was born in June 2022 from one simple but powerful belief — that a truly great dessert can turn any ordinary moment into something unforgettable.
What started as a home-based passion project in Bukit Jalil, KL, quickly grew into something much bigger than we ever imagined. Within just 12 months of launching, we had sold over 2,000 boxes of tiramisu and earned the trust of some of Malaysia’s most recognisable brands.
We didn’t set out to build a business. We set out to make people happy through dessert. Everything else followed naturally.
THE PERSON BEHIND IT ALL
Le Pasticcino was founded by Richie — driven by one obsession: making the perfect tiramisu.
After countless late nights perfecting ratios, sourcing the right mascarpone, and testing every layer until it felt exactly right, Richie launched Le Pasticcino in March 2022 from a home kitchen in Bukit Jalil with one simple mission — to make people smile through dessert.
The response was beyond anything he expected. Within 12 months, over 2,000 boxes of tiramisu had found their way into birthday celebrations, corporate events, and family gatherings across Malaysia.
Then came the tarts.
A year and a half into the journey, Richie launched Le Pasticcino’s second product — and it came from a very specific thought.
“When you bite into a tart, it should be a moment. Clean, elegant, and completely yours — no mess, no fuss, just pure enjoyment.”
That’s why he created mini tarts. Perfectly portioned to be shared across different occasions and different tables — whether it’s a wedding dessert spread, a corporate catering box, or a birthday celebration with friends.
What Richie didn’t expect was just how far a little tart could travel.
Since launching, Le Pasticcino’s tarts have brought us to brand collaborations with some of Malaysia’s biggest names, catering at prestigious events, and even the most intimate of occasions — the ones where two families come together and say “I do.”
From boardroom tables to wedding receptions, from product launches to baby showers — our tarts have been part of moments that matter. And that, more than anything, is what keeps Richie and the Le Pasticcino team baking every single day.
